The cabin is a 6 minute car ride from the nearest East Ruka ski lifts and a 12 minute car ride from Ruka village services. Ski, snowmobil and outdoor trails can be found right nearby.

Upea sauna lämpiää napin painalluksella. Mökki sijaitsee Suomutunturin välittömässä läheisyydessä, n. 145 km päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä. Mökki sijaitsee isolla tontilla ja siitä on avarat näkymät järvelle ja vaaramaisemiin. Kylältä pääsee lossilla upealle hiekkarannalle. Hiihtoladut Suomutunturilla. mutta pihalta voi lähteä järven jäälle hiihtämään. Kalastajalle Kemijärvi tarjoaa runsaita saaliita. Marjat aivan mökin nurkalla odottavat poimijoita.

Kesäjärven rannan läheisyydessä sijaitseva loma-asunto. Asunnon ikkunoista avatutuu avara maisema Kesäjärvelle. Keittiön ikkunasta avautuu lisäksi maisema avosuolle. Talvella voi mökin pihalta lähteä suoraan hiihtämään. Hoidettu latu on noin 200 m etäisyydellä. Myös moottorikelkka reitille voit lähteä suoraan pihasta. Kesällä vaellusreitille voi lähteä suoraan pihalta. Rannassa on laituri ja soutuvene.
