Located in a highly recreational area, it's a very peaceful place to relax away from it all yet within a 15 minute to an hour drive to many activities. You only need to bring your personal hygiene items, your food and drink and your own wood and charcoal to burn, everything else is provided. The caretaker lives next door.

Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.
