The Cut In The Hill Chalets is a relatively unknown gem in the Ross, Hocking, Jackson and Vinton County region. The majestic, mature forest make it a perfect week long or weekend getaway! Our chalet are surrounded by hundreds of acres of tall hardwood trees, hills and valleys. Very secluded!! Wellston & Jackson Ohio are the closest towns. There are a lot of small local craft, art shops and Amish communities in the area as well as great places to eat! Most are locally owed & operated.

Equestrian Studio

Quaint in the hills of Southern Ohio. This studio apartment is a one bed room with a lovely view overlooking the outdoor horse riding arena. It offers a kitchenette and sitting area downstairs. Upstairs has a queen size bed over looking the riding arena. A country setting at it's best. Pet friendly. Trailer Parking available. Some weekends we host equine events. Horses and exhibitors will be around the facility. There is a horse arena in front and at times you can watch !

Grounds rustic. Due to the age of the cabin prior to remodel, there may be some inconsistencies noted in the settling of the cabin over the years. You may hear a creaking in the floor when walking or see that a line is not perfect but we aim to offer a clean, comfortable stay

Located in the village of Hamden, The Cool Cat is within a 30 mile radius of nearby state parks which offer hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, kayaking, bicycle trails, and more. You can chill or get your groove on in this unique and spacious 70's themed apartment that is located above our early 1900's Hardware Store and Gift Shop.
