The Cottage at Dunthorpe Farm

The Cottage is a restored wagon barn nestled against the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll enjoy quality, comfort, quietude, and pastoral views. We are a fully licensed and inspected B&B on a 1790's farm in rural Loudoun County VA. Each morning you are treated to a continental breakfast of fresh pastry, fruit sourced from local farms, and homemade jams which we quietly deliver by 7:30 unless otherwise requested. Note that the base price is for 1-2 people. Guests 3 and 4 have additional fees.

Cozy West Virginia Treehouse

Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.

Sitting atop a hill on 23 acres at historic Fairview Organic Farm, Circa 1737, the cottage is surrounded by pasture, & history at the Harpers Ferry Gap. A few miles to Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, the Hollywood Casino, the Appalachia trail, & the Shenandoah & Potomac Rivers. Enjoy sun rise from the deck and sunsets from the porch.

Atop the Blue Ridge close to Harper’s Ferry and Virginia wine country this airy retreat overlooks the idyllic Shenandoah. Our two-person soaking tub on a magnificent deck, huge firepit, gorgeous vintage interior, grand piano, and warm pine ceiling and floors, give you the perfect place to get away from city life for a bit. Enjoy a relaxing stay on our family friendly farm, dogs welcome too! You will get to interact with many farm animals. We have a playground in a fenced area, fire pit and gas grill. Our place is close to Historic Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, Antietam, Wineries, Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, art and culture, restaurants and family-friendly activities are all within a short drive.

The Log Cabin

A restored 1700's log cabin in a convenient location to Shepherdstown and surrounding attractions. One bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed. One pull out sofa in the downstairs living area. In the summer of 2018, we have added an intimate brick patio area suitable for alfresco dining and for fireside sitting. It is peaceful. It is beautiful. You will not want to leave.
