Thank you for your interest in The Cozy Lookout Tower! Our unique vacation home is really a destination location rather than just a place to stay while you explore the area. Many of our guests are repeat guests that use our home as a place to recharge, relax, cook, read, talk, play games and connect with that special someone. There are some lovely hikes in the area, we encourage you to bring your dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by taking some hikes then returning for a soak in the tub!

Smith Rock Gardens

You'll enjoy the main house with the best views of Smith Rock and the Cascade mountains. Smith Rock State Park is literally across the street. A great location for outdoor activities at the park or in the region. Hike, climb, bike, walk or jog around the park. Sip tea inside and watch the animals. Perfect for artist and photographers. Cook a steak on the grill, make dinner in the fun cook shack and sit around and watch evening come. John Day Fossil Beds are close by. Hike Blue Basin, swim in the river or dig for fossils! We are out of range for most cell service, but it's close by. Wifi available at host house if needed! And pets are welcome!

The Historic Little Pine Lodge

The Little Pine Lodge is a Pet-Friendly hidden treasure nestled in a breezy canyon on Bridge Creek. It offers 1650 square feet of absolute charm with 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath right on Main Street in downtown Mitchell. The Lodge is within walking distance to the 140 year old Wheeler County Trading Company, Tiger Town Brewery and Judy's Place. It is only 9 miles from the The Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument!

Joe and Cris's lodge pole pine home is the perfect getaway without being away from town, nestled at the south city limits of Condon they designed and built this amazing home with trees carefully selected from the prineville area. This location offers fantastic views from the two covered decks. Within walking distance to downtown, the city park and local shopping, this home offers quiet relaxation and natural charm.
