Our Point of View

It resides in a quiet neighborhood 5 min from the glacier & is the gateway to outdoor exploring with incredible views right off the deck and many other trails close by. Waterfront Wonder

Right on the water! Offstreet parking with 50 steps down to the front door. Sit on the deck above the water and watch spectacular sunsets over the Chilkat Mtn Range. The space will accommodate two couples or a family of six. Wonderful covered deck with grill and outdoor dining. Totally possible to see humpback whales, orca, seals, sea lions, waterfowl, river otters, harbor porpoises, kingfishers, eagles and bear while sitting on the deck or looking out the window. Family friendly & work space.

Eagle’s Nest on the River

Enjoy nature from this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with full laundry facilities. Take in riverfront sunsets from the open-air covered deck, 25 feet off the ground. The property borders the river for enjoyable views of passing wildlife at the end of the day. The bedrooms have black out window shades for a peaceful rest. Take a stroll to the 3 mile Mendenhall Wetlands trail, 300 yards from the doorstep. The apartment is one of two on the top level, so you’ll need to climb 2 flights of stairs.

River House: On Mendenhall River/Glacier(4 min dr)

We love our place on the Mendenhall River! Eagles, bears, deer, porcupine, and otters are common sights in the backyard while the soft rush of the glacier-fed stream provides a soothing background. We are located in the upper Mendenhall Valley, just a 5 minute drive from the Mendenhall Glacier & 3 minute walk to the Brotherhood Bridge trail which takes you into deep old forest almost immediately. The river is ever changing and always beautiful & peaceful. We are available, but don’t intrude.

Alaska Northern Sands Suite

Alaska Northern Sands is located on the beach in Auke Bay. This premier rental offers high quality living with spectacular views and great ambiance. While private, it is centrally located with quick access to a wide variety of local activities and sights. We are located in a protected portion of Auke Bay where it rains only about half as much as it rains in downtown Juneau. Your stay in the Penthouse Suite also affords you direct and easy access to the beach as well as our beachfront gazebo.

Relax with the whole family at our Alaskan Beachfront villa. It has the best views in all of Juneau! 20 min drive to Eagle Crest Ski resort! Minutes from the harbor! Go fishing & head home with a freezer full of Halibut and Salmon! Deep freezer in the Unit! Holds a couple hundred lbs of fish or game. Fully stocked Kitchen Propane grill Coffee Bar Privacy curtains / blackout Smart TV Extra Blankets This unit is waterfront and has stairs. Not ideal for guests with mobility challenges.

The Tongass Treehouse sits about a hundred feet up in the lush rainforest canopy.
