We are an artist and designer couple who have built our dream little cottage in Kanatal with a lot of love and attention to detail. It has two bedrooms, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a wraparound balcony with uninterrupted views of Himalayan peaks, a terrace, and a little backyard where we grow vegetables. It also has a fast wi-fi connection if you want to WFH (Work From the Himalayas). There’s a caretaker and a chef on demand too. Just perfect for a laidback homestay up in the mountains.

Guests get the 2nd floor with a private access. The space includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/lounge, 2 terraces & balconies. Included in your stay is a complimentary breakfast. Guests get to order vegetarian & non-vegetarian delicacies for lunch & dinner from the dehradun famous Awadhi cuisine menu designed by Chef Sameer & his mother Swapna.

Forester North - Farm Stay in Kanatal

The cottage is within a Kiwi and Apple Orchard with hundreds of trees spread over 4 Acres of terraced land. There is a lush green uninhabited valley below, with massive snowbound Himalayan peaks ahead on the horizon. We have Airtel wifi. There is private parking available for 2 cars. From the parking spot to the cottage, there is a gradual walk of about 90 meters. This walk is inside our orchard and not on the road. We have a caretaker and staff on the property to cook for you.
