Stairway two/seven Apartment B located downtown

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Looking out on the Kearney County courthouse. Located right next to the Minden Opera House and front row windows to see the Light of the World Pageant at Christmas time. Within walking distance of Pioneer Village. America's time capsule features 50000+ historic items. Only a short drive if you're wanting to view the Sandhill Cranes during their migration. There are 27 stairs to climb so you also get a work out.

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a TV (no TV service) that can be used for DVD's. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!! TV in the cabin is for DVD's only.

Whisker Creek Ranch

Enjoy a quiet stay at Whisker Creek Ranch, located next to the beautiful Platte River. It is a 2 bedroom rustic cabin with sun-room equipped with a trundle bed, kitchen, living room with TV, WiFi, bath with shower and stacking washer and dryer. There is 25 acres of land with access to the North Platte River, and only a short drive from the Rowe Sanctuary, and Iain Nicolson Audobon Center. Cabin is not ADA equipped.

Cozy Cabin on the River

This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.

A Simple Place - Monthly Stays

My goal is a place that is simple in design and function, and easy and pleasant to live in. I am only accepting guests for this suite of rooms with a 1 month minimum stay. Note that the state of Nebraska charges a lodging tax for stays of 28 days or less. To avoid that tax, you'll need to book for at least 29 days. No deposit required. No extra fees.

The Bunkhouse

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This trailer has been completely renovated and has a new refrigerator and stove. Decorated in a western theme. The couch pulls out to make a bed if needed. Washer and dryer are available. It’s a cute comfortable place. Located close to Kearney and Minden.

Crane Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located just one mile south of I-80 this quaint studio cottage is perfect for a quiet, clean, and cozy stay. The Platte River is just a short walk from the cottage and it is situated on 10 acres!
