The Cove Retreat Oceanfront Upstairs Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The upstairs one bedroom apartment has stunnning views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. All our relaxing outside areas including the firepit overlook the ocean.

Our well equiped modern 2 bedroom home with the marina and beach only a short stroll away and Woolworths right around the corner. Whale watching and Fraser Island tours are only 1km from our home making the location just perfect to explore the waters. There is a lovely fully fenced yard and great outdoor area with a BBQ and Firepit. Our home is also wheel chair friendly and pet friendly. There is a second Airbnb on the property - (Unique Pop Up Home) so you will share the back yard.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Views across the Great Sandy Strait to K’gari (Fraser Island). Total getaway with stunning white Sandy beaches and clear water. Take long walks at low tide across the Sandy expanses, and swim in calm waters or go kayaking during high tide. The fishing is excellent with a boat ramp near the shady park, picnic and BBQ area. No shops in town, 30min to Tin Can Bay where you can feed the dolphins and enjoy the cafes. A little piece of paradise. BYO sheets.

Your own self contained accommodation downstairs has a private entrance overlooking a lush courtyard and a few minutes drive from lovely Scarness Beach, restaurants ,hotels and shops.Guests can enjoy beautiful Bay views as they walk or cycle along a shady ten kilometer walkway from Vernon Point to the historical Urangan Pier. It is a perfect base for a family holiday or a couples getaway exploring the Fraser Coast and our beautiful heritage city "Maryborough". The terraced river bank allows access to a large river flat and deepwater river frontage. Please note that the bank is steep but you are more than welcome to explore.
