The historic 1884 Goldrush town of Barberton is just a 2km walk away. Gold mining tours and panning are available and the area still has 7 working gold mines. Set on the banks of Da Gama Lake, between White River and Hazyview, this rustic two-bedroom home offers breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the water. A winding path leads down to a private sundowner spot right on the lake’s edge, the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. From here, you also have access to peaceful walking trails that meander through the area. For the more adventurous, the dam provides an invigorating and refreshing swim in its clear waters.
