La Solange cottage is on its own private lot. We are close to the airport, churches, shopping, and right off of I-10 and I-49, making it easy to get to wherever you want to be within minutes. Traveling without a vehicle is no issue, Uber is available. The front of our cottage faces Gloria Switch Road, while our back semi- secluded porch faces a wooded area. WiFi is available. We have a Jacuzzi, no shower, king-size bed, 55" Smart TV, kitchenette, sitting area, and a semi-secluded balcony.

The Fair Oaks Farmhouse is nestled among 4 acres of lush, mature trees in the heart of Lafayette, LA, located just a mile from Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital and a mile from Moncus Park. In less than 10 minutes, you can be listening to live music downtown or shopping in River Ranch. There is no other home like it where you get all the amenities of city life with all the relaxation of the country. It's private setting and ample parking make it the perfect spot for wedding party weekends.

Country Cottage

Our cottage is peaceful, comfortable, and conveniently located. The campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is near by and so is Breaux Bridge and Lafayette shopping and restaurants. We live near by and would love to tell you about a variety of places to visit such as the little cafe down town that serves the best fresh fried shrimp poboy served with fresh potato fries and on Saturday provides Cajun music played by local musicians. We love our community and think you will too.
