Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

Or take the path down to the private beach featuring 280' of pebble and sand shoreline. Access to bike and hiking trails.

Super cute little cabin perched right above Lake Superior, and only a 2 minute walk down to the lake. This is a real charmer with pine floors, walls and cabinets. Living room, kitchen and deck all overlook Lake Superior. Though simple, the kitchen has all of the essentials for cooking meals and eating in. The fire pit outside is perfect for relaxing by the fire and making s'mores. Situated near great North Shore adventures, like hiking, biking, paddling, golf, skiing, and snowmobiling.

The Acorn of Little Sand Bay Dog Friendly

Modern-rustic, Aframe on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, glass stove top, air-fryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king gel memory foam bed on main floor. Smart TV, wi-fi. Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly as the main heat source. All wood is provided for woodstove and firepit. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Perfect for solo adventures & couples willing to pack-in/pack-out. You are the CLEANER (you must vacuum, wipe, remove ALL food/garbage/rocks/crumbs and leave tidy!). Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. A beautifully private north woods retreat any time of year!

The Wandering Moose -Cabin Getaway, with Sauna!

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
