Camping with Rescue Animals

We are a charity that rescues farm animals from neglect and abuse situations, we have 43 rescue animals for you to come and meet during your stay. Our accommodations offer BBQ’s and fire pits and all the essentials for a peaceful and relaxing time with your getaway. We have cows, pigs, goats, Llama and Alpacas, a turkey named Hector, a peacock named Blue and sheep. Your stay directly goes back to fund our charity and the animals. We are now allowing dogs this year with a $100 damage deposit. 🐾

Up The Creek A-Frame Cottage

Relax in an A-frame Cottage over looking a stocked trout pond surrounded by trees. 20 acres of trails. Fish swim, kayak or canoe in the pond or creek. Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. Wood and linens supplied. Ninja course, water mat & trampoline for your use. Groups welcome, extend your group send your request for more info.

Brightwood #3

Make your next trip a camping getaway! Brightwood #3 is a cozy retreat with convenience, comfort, and adventure. You'll stay in a modern, fully-stocked RV bunkhouse on a large campsite with everything you need. Spread out with 1 queen bedroom and the bunkroom which has 2 twin bunks and a convertible sofa bed, separated by the living area, kitchen, a full bathroom and a 2nd half-bathroom. This is perfect for couples, families, and friends to add a little fun to your northern Michigan getaway.

JoErney Vintage Camper ~ Near Mackinac Island

The JoErney 1965 Anderett vintage camper is nestled on the edge of the woods overlooking an open field with beautiful sunrise views. This peaceful Kilpatrick Vintage Acres retreat offers incredibly clear night skies, perfect for taking in the stars in a quiet, natural setting. Located within driving distance of Mackinac Island, it provides a relaxing rustic camping getaway. The JoErney sleeps 2, with plenty of room to pitch a tent for additional guests, accommodating up to 5 people total.

Come enjoy a stay at OakHill located in the heart of the mitten, surrounded by the Great Lakes. This is a camping experience in a bunkhouse rv without the expense of one! Enjoy our private 20 acres with two lakes for boating and catch and release fishing, Don’t forget your own rods and bait! With two paddle boats and a launch pad to add to your lake enjoyment! Bring your pet along for a small fee then kick back and stay a while! Theres lots of shopping and destinations within 1 hr too!

Relax and reconnect with nature! Your camp ground is all step up! Rv was recently remodeled and has new Memory foam mattress on the main bed, toilet, shower, microwave, tv. Outside Flattop grill w/ propane. Picnic table. Bonfire w/ wood and cornhole. Borrow the bikes, or take a 50 steps and sit on paddleboard,kayak or canoe and enjoy the lake! ! . And the SUNSETS! Secluded by beautiful farms, but only a short backroad trip to nearby Frankenmuth, Bay City or Caseville.

2.5-acre lot in a farm without neighborhood, the new renovated cottage has 4 bedrooms 6 baths 7 beds with extra Sauna & Game House. Displayed with historic pieces, the cottage looks like a museum which highlights lifestyle a century ago. Located in the center of 10 attractions in North Bruce Peninsula. Only 6 min drive to rent a boat & fish. All guests are suggested to bring their own bedding although we provide pillows and bedding also. Towels & Free washer/dryer also provided.
