Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Enjoy the midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in winter — all from the comfort of this modern, welcoming retreat.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Rolig og idyllisk småbruk med geiter og høns. Fint turterreng nært gården, og enkelt utgangspunkt for å utforske Senja. Mulig å leie naust med grillplass. Hjem i Senja

Huset ligger i vakre omgivelser i storslått natur, her finner du sjelero. Det var mine besteforeldres småbruk, og gir en følelse av nostalgi. Stedet er i umiddelbar nærhet til fjell og en innsjø som oppleves ganske privat. Det er nært lakseførende vassdrag og småviltjakt for de som liker å fiske eller jakte. (Se annen informasjon). Fra september til april er Senja et av de beste stedene i verden å se nordlys ved klarvær, vi ligger under nordlysovalen.

Med Djevelens Tanngard som bakgrunn, og ingen lysforurensing, er dette en unik overnatting for å oppleve midnattsol, nordlys, havdønninger og alt annet naturen på yttersiden av Senja har å tilby. Straumen Sea View - Magic Arctic Getaway

We are the proud owners of this very special cabin located right at the seafront. Modern fully equipped kitchen and stylish living room with panoramic views through the large windows facing the sea. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you will need and the bathroom is spacious with water closet and large shower. Washing machine/tumbling dryer and dishwasher is also available and can be used freely.

Perfekt utgangspunkt for fiske, jakt og fjellturer, eller bare avslapning med familien. Hytta er familievennlig og har alt du trenger for et komfortabelt opphold. Opplev Senjas magi med fiskevann, merkede turstier og flott utsikt rett utenfor døra!

Unique panorama - Senja

Det kan nesten ikke beskrives - det må oppleves. Du bor på yttersida av eventyrøya Senja. Du kommer ikke nærmere naturen - med en glassfasade på nærmere 30 kvm har du følelsen av å sitte ute mens du sitter inne. Om det er midtnattsol eller nordlys - det blir aldri kjedelig å se på havet, fjellene og dyrelivet langs Bergsfjorden. Hytta var ferdig høsten 2018 og har høy standard.

Charming cabin - Senja

The cabin is located on the north side of Senja, surrounded by lovely nature and posibillities for numerous hikes in the area. The cabin is well equipped and is a perfect base for exploring Senja by foot, bicycle or car. You can drive to the door and park right outside. Very quiet area with a nice scenery to the fjord and mountains.
