The Fort William to Oban cycle path passes right outside the garden gate. The village has a convenience store and seasonal cafe, which are just 2 minutes' walk away. This is an ideal base for exploring the West coast of Argyll. Ferries run from Oban to various islands, and the mountains of Glencoe are 45 minutes to the North.

Bracken Barn is situated on a hill overlooking Cuil Bay and Loch Linnhe, with views stretching down the Morvern Peninsula, past the small islands of Balnagowan, Shuna and Lismore…and all the way to the Isle of Mull. Recently converted from an agricultural shed, it is now an extremely comfortable holiday home – a silk purse from a sow’s ear! The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

Our glamping pods are situated in our garden, just next to the main road into Oban with access to 24hour garage / shop 2 min walk away. Our garden has a brilliant access path to the hill behind which gives gorgeous views of Dunstaffnage Castle. we live on sight so are on hand for any queries. The Pod is well insulated and has a wall heater that isn't needed much in the summer months. They are cosy and comfortable for up to 4 people. (1 x double bed, 1 x single bed, 1 x sofa bed).
