Wye River beach shack hideaway in the tree tops

Wye River Beach Shack is a 2-bedroom 1950s beach house in the treetops with wildlife & ocean views, perfectly suited for a couple, two couples or a family. A short walk down to the surf beach, cafe/general store and pub situated on the Great Ocean Road. NOTE-there is separate access to the second bedroom downstairs and it is on its own key code. If you do not need second bedroom there is no additional charge. When booking both bedrooms for 2 people there is a $50 extra cleaning and linen charge

Opening in September 2026 with beautiful new bathrooms, furniture, fire place, induction cooktop and other kitchen upgrades, a hot water outdoor shower, new carpets and freshly painted throughout! All renovations are sensitively designed and responsive to the beautiful original architecture of famous local Architect Andy Sprogis, retaining the great feature of the house, its multi-levelled glass walled spaces.

Stunning 50's Beach House

A beautifully renovated 50's beach house in a quiet setting within walking distance to the Swing Bridge and local shopping strip. A well appointed house with stunning views to Lorne pier and surrounding township. A second new living room has recently been added to provide additional relaxation areas. Bed linen and towels provided. The house is not suitable for children 2 to 12 years old subject to a specific discussion. We have a strict NO SMOKING policy for the convenience of other guests.

The Chapel A Beautiful View for Two

The Chapel is a fully self contained, boutique style getaway for two. Situated less than 1k from the main beach and shopping strip. You will find everything you need for a relaxing break. Two night minimum stay with the exception where 1 night is available between 2 bookings. Also minimum nights apply to specific events and public holidays. A 3 night minimum applies from 26 Dec - 27 Jan. EV charging is available from a standard weatherproof proof power point at no charge.
