Beach House #1

A quaint cottage near the beach, Beach House #1 gives you the best of both forest and beach-living. It is located just a short walk from the beach, perfect for spotting marine wildlife or catching a kayak tour. Picture windows in the sunroom capture the midnight summer sun and the dramatic forest views. The cottage features a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a private carpeted loft with a queen-sized mattress. A double futon in the living room brings the total sleeping areas to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, and the house also features a full bath. Guests can enjoy use of the picnic area, with a barbecue grill and fire pit. A crib and baby gate are also available if required.

Salted Roots Red Door A-Frame Cabin

Our new glass-front Aframe cabin was completed in March of 2020. It’s modern appeal includes a master bedroom downstairs, a loft bedroom upstairs, and a sofa couch in the living area for a comfortable stay of 6 people. The unit also includes a beautiful wet room, clawfoot tub, wood pellet stove, kitchenette, and private deck. Set 6 feet off the forest floor, this naturally lit cabin has an especially enchanting canopy view of Resurrection Bay. Salted Roots Cabins offers 5 private nightly units.

Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

Cozy Alaska yurt - Full bathroom

Experience the Alaska lifestyle in our cozy, ON-grid yurt. Nestled a short walk up the hillside, you'll be serenaded by squirrels and can watch the trees rustling overhead from your new firm memory foam bed. Far from "roughing it", this yurt has all the amenities: hot and cold running (drinkable) water, electricity, a full kitchen and a shower. While there is a composting toilet inside the yurt, if you'd like to stick to a "normal" toilet, there is also a shared restroom near the parking area.

Kobuk’s Kabin: Clean, Comfy, and Dog-Friendly

Woof, hi, I’m Kobuk the Saint Bernard! Welcome to my log cabin! It’s super cozy, away from the downtown hustle-bustle, and a short walk to the beautiful 16-mile Lost Lake Trail, where I love to hike, wade in streams, and roll in snow. My dog-friendly cabin is in a popular all-season adventure spot for mountain/snow bikers, trail runners, backcountry/cross-country skiers, and snowmachiners. Pack your gear and come on over! We even have ample room for parking boats and other trailered items!

Lost Lake Tiny House

Nestled in Seward’s peaceful, forested Lost Lake area, this modern tiny house offers the perfect mix of seclusion and adventure. Just a short walk (under ½ mile) to the beautiful Lost Lake Trailhead, you’ll have incredible hiking and mountain biking right outside your door. Surrounded by tall spruce trees and fresh mountain air, it feels like a quiet retreat—yet you’re only 4 miles from the harbor and 5 miles from downtown Seward. The perfect cozy base for your Alaskan adventure.

Cottage in the Woods

Adventure awaits at our cozy retreat, just 10 minutes from Seward! The walk down to the cabin is a little steep and includes stairs. Inside, a loft is accessed by a STEEP ladder, adding rustic charm. Water has been disconnected for the winter and is reconnected in May. There’s no Wi-Fi or TV—just mountains, fresh air, and peace. Enjoy the quiet, spot wildlife, stargaze at night, and use our cabin as a unique base for your unforgettable Alaskan adventure.

In The Lee: Creekside Yurt minutes from Harbor, NP

Experience the essence of Alaska just outside your door! The new, In The Lee Yurt is located steps away from Salmon Creek on the outskirts of Kenai Fjords NP and 4 miles from the harbor. Nestled in the trees, this is the perfect jump off point to all your adventures in Seward. Fire up the BBQ, light the firepit, take in the sweeping mountain peaks, look out for wildlife as they frequent the creek and recharge in the cozy atmosphere of an Alaskan Yurt.

Welcome to my little cabin! Built locally in 1989 this cozy log cabin is one of the few remaining cabins originally built in the Lost Lake Subdivision. With its true cabin form it was built as a "Dry Cabin". In 2011 utilities were added. Staying here you will enjoy the comforts of the modern world but also the coziness of a rustic log cabin on a large private lot in a quiet subdivision. Located 1.2 miles outside the Seward City limits.

Oceanfront Inn Duplex (Downstairs Suite)

A single private unit located downstairs in a two-story duplex. The suite includes two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a living/dining area with couch and table, and a full kitchen stocked with dishes and basic cookware. The bathroom includes a stand up shower, no bathtub. Each suite also features a private balcony with the best view in Seward! Access to a shared hot tub, (extra fee), is included with rental of this unit.

We are in the heart of downtown Seward! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and a variety of family friendly activities along Resurrection Bay. Our apartment is above the health food store, with a coffee shop and deli, and adjacent to a playground, Kawabe Park, and the free shuttle stop. You will love our place! We are great for groups, couples, families (kids, too!) and business travelers. You are at home with us!

The Lodge - feel of the Alaskan outdoors

If you want to be close to town but off the beaten path with all the comforts of home, this is your spot. We built our wooded home in 2014 near beautiful Seward, inspired by the Alaskan wilderness. With wood walls, ceilings, river rocks, and logs, it’s our dream lodge come true and can easily sleep 10 people. We also rent a cozy rustic cabin on the property that sleeps 4, with beds, shower, and small kitchen.
