Dollar General located half a mile away, and only a 5-10 minute drive into town for more (gas, groceries, and restaurants).

This quiet little hamlet of cabins is located on Culhane Lake in the northeastern upper peninsula close to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Crisp Point Lighthouse, Little Lake Harbor, Lake Superior, and many other local attractions. The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

We are within an hour or so of most of the popular things to do. in the winter, you will need to park at the top, walk about 100 ft or sled down to the cottage.
