Maalaea Bay is perfectly located and central to the entire island so it's easy to get out and explore... Watch the sunrise from high atop the clouds at the 10,000 ft. summit of Haleakala Volcano (about 45 minutes to the summit). Shop the luxury stores of Wailea (about 20 minutes away).
