Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

This romantic retreat on the river will have you swooning for your love and wanting to stay longer. Nestled in a picturesque valley at higher elevations with views of the lower gorge and the Cullasaja river rapids as your playground, the open floor plan and abundant windows bring the outdoors in. Romantic is just the beginning as you sleep with views of the moon and stars over your bed in 1 of the master bedrooms. Or choose the enormous suite downstairs for views of the river and fireflies.

Mountain Air Cabin

Adorable & freshly renovated cabin located in a private wooded community between Highlands and Franklin in the Nantahala National Forest. Our light & airy cabin is nestled on almost 4 acres of woodsy, mountainous terrain and is private and picturesque, yet still convenient to town. We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Our Joe Webb cabin is just minutes drive and a 15 min. walk to the Historic mountain town of Highlands, NC, with great restaurants, dining, bars, spa, art and culture. At 4,100 feet we have hiking, zip lining and waterfalls,romantic winters and summers with temps in the 70's - low 80's. You’ll love this place because of the coziness, warmth and charm of a classic mountain log cabin with all the modern comforts. It is great for couples(and a child), solo adventurers, and business travelers.

This 3 bedroom home is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of town where you can enjoy wonderful restaurants and breweries. Greet the morning enjoying your coffee in the sunroom as you watch the birds, Merle the Squirrel and chipmunks. The huge private deck, nestled in trees, is a lovely place for enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets. Enjoy the flagstone fire pit in the backyard.
