Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The Rosemary Cabin at Bluff Mountain Nursery. Nestled at the top of the hill in the heart of our plant nursery, you’ll be sure to be surrounded by beauty and nature a like. Custom built with plant and farm lovers in mind, with greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can visit our farm during your stay to meet our livestock too. Located on 60 acres of wooded land only minutes from the Appalachian Trail. It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access and Hot Tub too.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. Take a trip into the woods and relish in nature at our Rustic Brown Bungalow. The bungalow is located in the woods but is conveniently located close to (5 mins) the interstate, shops, and grocery stores. It is fully equipped with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a front porch overlooking the neighboring pasture, an outdoor fire pit, and toasty gas logs. Enjoy a coffee or local craft beer while unplugging from everyday life and listening to the native wildlife.

Cabin Kisa

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guests who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
