Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Nydelig hytte i et fredelig område. Fantastisk utsikt over Rostadvannet, fra stuevindu nesten på stranda. Ferske egg kan kjøpes hos naboen. Beautiful cottage in a quiet area. Stunning view, Rosta lake in front and Rosta mountain behind the cottage. Northern ligths just outside the cottage. Close to Dividalen nationalpark with lots of places to walk in the nature, both summer and winter. A perfect place for relaxation and good experience in nature. Pets allowed, except cats and rabbits.

After being a host in Oslo since 2011, I have renovated this cabin far up north where I was born, and my family still live. It also comes equipt with everything you might need or didn't know you needed to make your stay epic! 2 pairs of snowshoes include! 2 bikes, 2 fishing rods and fancy coffee gear is also free for you to use. Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
