Nana's Cabin

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

All groups will enjoy this centrally located 2 bedroom house with bunk loft. Alaska charm with the funkiness that makes Talkeetna a unique get away. G St Base Camp is great place to enjoy Talkeetna, watch the Northern Lights, or start your Denali adventure. DENALI OVERLOOK - A private house located in the woods only 6 miles from Talkeetna town. Enjoy the spectacular private view of Denali and the Alaska range from the house. Even if Denali is hidden in the clouds, you overlook the valley. You can drink morning coffee looking out at Denali. There are not many places that have a view like this. Why stay with the crowds when you can have privacy. Lots of hiking trails right from the house are available. Moose often walk through this area.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

The Airstrip - Runway Cabin

NEW custom in-ground hot tub built flush with deck. Authentic Alaskan log home on the Talkeetna Village Airstrip. Located just two blocks away from Main Street, enjoy short walking distance to all amenities while having the peace and quiet of a secluded lot. This cozy log home has been recently updated inside from top to bottom including a new kitchen, bathroom and sauna. Enjoy watching planes taking off and landing from the living room windows.

Quiet, 1 bedroom, 2 bath hand crafted log home. Full kitchen with everything needed to cook/bake. Camp fire/Wood stove/firewood included. Gas stove/Oven. Stereo,TV,DVD free wifi. Nice in tune Piano. Happy to lend out all the toys we have -Skis,Snowshoes, Canoe,Kayak, Paddle boards and bikes. If interested in extended (2 weeks + ) winter stays please ask. Great X-country skiing

Silver Cabin at Montana Creek & Sauna

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your year round use. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
