This Bamboo Hut is in Wahkhen Village, the village is well know as base for famous Trek of Bamboo Trail to Mawrynkhang. Interiors of WahKhen Village is more beautiful to explore for its Serenity, village life & biodiversity of plants. Also actually Wahkhen is that "Whistling Village" of East Khasi Hills, from where the practice of calling by whistle originated. It is a cosy, spacious room with an indoor fireplace , kitchen cum dining with all appliances. The wooden floors in the bedroom, kitchen and deck add to the ambience of the rustic surroundings. Water is sourced from a spring within the premises.
