Firefly cabin, tucked deep in the woods, is the perfect place to escape. The cabin offers a peaceful retreat where you can temporarily separate from technology and connect with one another and the surrounding nature. Inside you will find comfortable, spacious rooms for both small and large gatherings. Outside, relax on the wrap around deck, sit around the fire pit, or hike our trails throughout the 300 acre property. The Firefly Cabin is one of several accommodations at Carpenter Inn.

Secluded Western Red Cedar Lakeside Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Once you pass the entrance gates to Twin Wolves Cedar Cabin the perfect escape for your group or family begins. Enjoy the natural flowers, mature trees, and wildlife as you travel down the split rail lined paved driveway. The Cedar Cabin is over 2200 square feet and comfortably sleeps 8 guests. As you settle in to this lakeside Cabin, enjoy the serenity of the 2 acre lake and water fountains. Enjoy the views on this 30 acres of woods.

Escape to the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio at Camp Forever! Our property is located in the secluded countryside, perfect for a peaceful getaway. We offer amenities such as a hot tub, fire pit and lots of games! Camp Forever has a primary bedroom and lofted beds upstairs. Please note that we are in a private country setting. Camp Forever is 20 minutes from Ohio University, and a Short 5 minute drive to 2 Wineries! We love pets and insist you bring them along for your stay.

Nestled on a quiet hilltop you will enjoy 360° privacy in this rustic cabin that's spacious and unique! On the main floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen, living room with DVD player and retro game system, dining space, full bathroom & 2 bedrooms each with a queen & twin size bed. Downstairs in the basement you will find another living room, master bedroom with en suite bath, and gym. It can be the perfect space for families, friends groups, hunters and more!

Mardi Gras House

Mardi Gras House features a private bedroom with queen bed and antique armoire, and a loft bedroom with full size bed overlooking the living/dining area. The loft railing inspired the festive French Quarter themed decor in this cabin. This cabin also features a cozy kitchenette and the sofa folds into a queen bed. The deck is equipped with a dining set and gas grill (propane is provided.) Our hot tub is located under the spa building and is available to all our guests.

Cozy 2-Bedroom River Cabin with Private Dock

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway: The River Cabin has a large, covered porch overlooking Millcreek and exclusive access to a dock, fire-ring area, and deck with table, chairs and umbrella. It sleeps five (2 full size, 1 twin). Includes a fully stocked kitchen, a full bathroom, and linens. The dock sits right on Millcreek, and is a lovely place to relax and fish. Up to 2 pets allowed for a fee. Additional $5 daily charge the 5th guest.

Sweet Peace Cabin

Sweet Peace Cabin is an easy 20-minute drive from Ohio University in the quintessential college town of Athens. The cabin is also close to Pomeroy, located on the scenic Ohio River, and two local wineries. Use it as a hub to discover the area, or as a get-away to find the peace you crave in your hectic life. It is perfect for couples, small families, and well-behaved dogs who want to run free in the very large fully fenced yard.

Glorious Log Cabin Retreat with Pool

Absolutely stunning log cabin home crafted from hand-hewn beams over 160 years old. Add to that a deep inground pool, massive wrap around porch, and elegant modern touches including an indoor wood stove, you'll be able to enjoy the country air, woodlands, and unplug. Perfect retreat for small to medium gatherings with three acres to explore, and nearby attractions like Athens and Shade Winery. Pool is open May - September.

Twin Oaks a Rustic Cabin

Twin Oaks cabin is located 3.6 miles outside of Vinton, Ohio on 50 acres which is mostly wooded. If you enjoy wildlife, privacy, and campfires this is your getaway. This property includes a camper site if you have friends, or family that would like to join you with their RV. It has hookups for water, electricity, and sewage. An additional $35 fee per night for the campsite usage. No hunting allowed by guests.
