Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. The D bar D farmhouse is a cozy, family-friendly house that is literally located on a family farm. Less than .25 miles down the road you will find an access point to enjoy the peaceful Ouachita river or drive a short 30 minutes to Wolf Pen Gap to ride ATVs or find Irons Fork Lake 6 miles away to take in nature and fish.

Loblolly Pines Cabin - A modern retreat on 6 acres

Loblolly Pine's is located a stones throw from the peaceful Ouachita National Forest. Thoughtfully curated, comfy and cozy, the private 6 acre property gets its name from the towering loblolly pines scattered throughout. This cabin, built in 2018, sits on the high banks above the Irons Fork Creek, has hiking access to the creek, and is only yards away from the National forest boundary. Private, heavily treed, and peaceful, you will find this cabin to be a great place to get away and enjoy natural beauty in any season. To the town of Mena, AR, it is about a 15 minute drive. This tiny cabin in the woods is the closest Airbnb to Queen Wilhelmina State Park’s hiking/biking trails, sunset views, and restaurant. Private setting, surrounded by trees, and less than 2 miles from the Ouachita Trail, Black Fork Mtn Trail, & Talimina Scenic Drive. Has wi-fi, smart TV, covered deck, & heat/air. The Cottage at Acorn

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

Nichols Mountain ATV Hideaway

This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house sits in the heart of the Ouachita National Forest just minutes from the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails. You can ride straight to the trails from the driveway! It’s close to great hiking trails, swimming holes, and there’s plenty of space on the property to play cornhole and horseshoes. The deck has seating to enjoy the peace and quiet while watching for wildlife. This property is a perfect getaway place!
