Το παραδοσιακό αυτό σπίτι των 200 περίπου χρόνων βρίσκεται στο χωριό Πολιανή της Μεσσηνίας σε ύψος 680 μέτρων στην αγκαλιά του Ταϋγέτου. Το χωριό είναι περιτριγυρισμένο απο κατάφυτες βουνοκορφές καθώς απλωνεται μέσα σε έναν εύφορο κάμπο γεμάτο μηλιές,καρυδιές και σιτηρά που τον διασχίζουν δυό ποταμοί. Ιστορικά η Πολιανή έχει καταγεγραμμένους μέχρι και σήμερα πάνω από 45 βυζαντινούς ναούς ενώ σώζεται από τη Βυζαντινή περίοδο ο ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου με αξιόλογες τοιχογραφίες του 12ου αιώνα.

Once upon a time, there was an imposing cobble tower in the heart of the picturesque Messinian Bay. The tower was just 1km away from the beach, hidden amidst olive groves, and had a pretty garden for guests to relax. There were wonderful places to shop, dine or go out within a radius of 1km, and the bustling city of Kalamata was just 10km away. The tower was a place of peace and tranquillity, where guests could escape the noise of the world outside and appreciate the beauty around them.

Ideally located, both close to Kardamyli but also private. A remarkable guesthouse on two levels with cathedral ceilings and an exposed wood vaulted roof. With it's own entrance. The house is located in K.Verga which is about 4km from the nearest beach and 9km. from the center of Kalamata. The facilities are the ones of a modern house. The balcony provides an amazing view of Messinian bay. It's also surrounded by a big garden, which has historical interest as there used to be a threshing floor aged 300 years. The sunset from the balcony with a glass of wine is a unique experience that one has to experience as highly recommended!

The house is built in the traditional settlement of Proastio (or Prasteio for the locals) in an olive grove. It is located 6km (less than 10 minutes by car) from Kardamili and 9km (about 15 minutes drive) from Stoupa. In the area there are many beaches (organized and not) as well as cafes, taverns and restaurants for all tastes and requirements. The nearest beach is Kalamitsi (about 4km) and is ideal for children.
