Welcome to The Howland Hideout! This unique tiny home is the perfect getaway spot for all seasons, filled with the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay and boasting handcrafted touches throughout, you won’t find many places quite like this! Could be a great fit for traveling nurses as there are multiple hospitals nearby. This family friendly location has a large parking area with plenty of room for vehicles/trailers and the patio/backyard are a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Two golf courses within 5 miles, swimming lakes, boating and fishing. Day trip to Bar Harbor, Baxter State Park including Mt. Katahdin and the terminus of the Appalachian trail. Or visit the Moosehead Lake Region and Elephant Mt. site of the B52 bomber crash site. International airport in Bangor.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This chalet is right on the ITS trail, nestled in the middle of a small lightly wooded lot in a rural setting. Enjoy the fire pit, bring your snowmobiles, bikes and trailers. The space is cozy with a 55" TV and small kitchen to prepare your meals. The bedroom is in the loft with catwalk opening up to a balcony. Enjoy access to year round outdoor activities as you are nearby Katahdin Iron Works/Jo Mary region and near Sebec and Schoodic lakes

The perfect weekend getaway spot with beautiful views. It is renovated with an old time cozy camp feel, with modern conveniences. This pet friendly camp is across the street from Schoodic Lake. The cozy camp sleeps 5-6 comfortably with on-site parking for three. The camp is located on ITS 111 trails for snowmobiling and ATVing. Hunting, fishing and hiking destinations include, Baxter State Park, Gulf Hagas, and Katadin Iron Works. Water access at Knights Landing just a short distance away.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). 3 night minimum. Cottage is located at 32 Lake Avenue, Brownville, Maine 04414. Turn right at A.E. Roberson's convenience store in Brownville, Maine onto Church Street. Follow Church Street for 4.7 miles and turn right onto Schoodic Lake Road. Follow Schoodic Lake Road for Approx. 4 miles. Bear right after crossing the railroad tracks and 32 Lake Ave. will be on your left at our mail box.

Rustic Country Apartment on The Moosehead Trail.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Maine Lodge & Cabin getaway

Muk-Bog Lodge is settled on 30 acres of Maine woods and surrounded by more than 100 acres of preserved Maine woodlands. Located on a private drive several hundred yards from the main roadway, this Lodge offers you privacy while still being within 10 minutes of downtown Milo. The Lodge also offers a 30x40 garage for storage or parking while renting. There is also a 12x14 mudroom at the entrance for more storage and a open 12x12 back deck overlooking the firepit and back lawn area.

Upta Camp

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.
