Back to basics. Enjoy the peaceful solitude of this creek side home on the edge of town. This rustic remodel has modern amenities, including wi-fi, to make your stay comfortable and cozy. There are also areas for relaxation, like the hot tub on the deck. While soaking, you can view the creek which often has wildlife such as otters, beaver, deer, squirrels, owls and herons. Sunset Mountain Privacy

Along Route 66, just 4 minutes from Purina Farms, this shared property is dedicated to your privacy, where you’ll enjoy a jacuzzi tub, private deck, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, fenced in area for dogs, relaxing garden areas, walking trails through the woods, fire pit, and an above ground pool in the summer months. Great for weekend getaways and anyone wanting to unplug. I stay in lower level with my husband and 11 year old son (who is usually gone weekends).

"Heaven" ( 1,512 sq ft, 7 ac) sits on a bluff overlooking the Osage river. An open home with huge full length windows and a sun room. Two porches offer views over the river and to the woods. A soaker tub and sauna are situated in the cabin with a view to the sunset. The cabin is at the end of a secluded forest road. A locked garage is available for small cars. Drive: 15-20 min to Linn for supplies / 30 min to Jeff City / 5 min to public river access. Regretfully no kids under 12 or pets.

This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, all the firewood you will need and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.
