The property overlooks the sea and is within walking distance of natural pools. The 4 km are two of the most beautiful beaches of the Island (Populo and Milicias). The house consists of 2 double bedrooms, one with sea view and one bedroom with twin beds, also with sea view. A full bathroom, living room with TV and Wifi. Dining Room / Fully equipped kitchen. Das Ferienhaus liegt im kleinen Dorf Joao Bom. Der Ort liegt in einer der abwechslungsreichsten Gegenden der Insel, ca. 5 km vom Badeort Mosteiros und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Caldeira Sete Cidades. Im Ort in ca. 250 m Entfernung befindet sich ein kleiner Minimercado mit Café. Das Haus liegt direkt am Wanderweg zur Steilküste nach Mosteiros und zur Caldeira Sete Cidades. Die Lage bietet einen landschaftlich schönen und ruhigen Ausgangspunkt um den Rest der Insel zu erkunden.

This typical fully remodeled house is located on the north coast of São Miguel Island, in Porto Formoso. It has a large terrace with a wonderful front view of the sea. Moinhos Beach is a 10-minute walk away and the village of Porto Formoso is 15 minutes away. There are two restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the city of Ribeira Grande - 10 km away - has a supermarket and many other shops. Several tourist attractions nearby (Furnas, Santa Bárbara Beach, Gorreana Tea).

Casa do Galo is a five-minute walk away from the “green lake”, and only three from the “blue lake”, giving you the opportunity to enjoy, comfortably, the peace and tranquility of the Sete Cidades volcano crater, immersed in the different shades of green. There are several recommended trails in the area which allow guests to explore the beauty of the nearby lakes and the local restaurants give you the chance of tasting the delicious Azorean cuisine.
