Our Hut is self contained accommodation in a fully renovated 100 years old Corn Shed. Decorate old Australiana goods around the building, unique Australian outback feel. Our 2 bedroom cottage is set on our 200 hectare stud cattle property. Our home is 50m away. The cottage is low set and has soul soothing mountain views of the Brisbane Valley. Situated 3 km from Toogoolawah and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. A peaceful setting to enjoy a country break. Enjoy stunning sunsets & sunrises from our viewing area. Cattle & horses graze peacefully nearby. We are close to the Ramblers Skydiving Centre, Watts Bridge Airfield and a short drive to the Somerset Dam.

Even though Wah Cottage is neatly 100 years old, it has been fully renovated so that it retains its country charm while still delivering creature comforts. Decorated with a nod to the french farmhouse aesthetic, the light filled rooms feature french cream walls and plantation shutters and farmhouse kitchen. The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces. We love to stay at this cottage between our travels - so welcome to our home away from home.

Currawong Self contained Cottage

Currawong Cottage is located at picturesque Kobble Creek Cottages. It is situated on the highest point of the Kobblecreek property with breathtaking elevated views of the D’Aguilar Ranges overlooking 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife and wildlife. It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village. There are two other cottages on the property namely Wonga and Figtree cottage.

Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.

All the conveniences of home in our little cottage! Our private home has 2 bedrooms + kids bunk room with expansive views over Somerset Lake and only a 2 mins drive to Kirkleigh boat ramps. This is a brilliant way to holiday with the whole family! 8 guests allowed but a maximum of 4 adults (one queen, one double and bunk beds for 4 kids under 12). Please note - no wifi - we come here as a family to disconnect.
