Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

A dock, firepit & gazebo are available for use and are shared with the neighboring unit, which are always a guest favorite! Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

It has all the modern amenities you need for a perfect stay near Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The cabin is ideal for 4 guests and 1 dog is permitted. For added guests - there is a fully equipped RV pad with hookups (50 amp, water, sewer) available for an additional fee. This is a shared lot with a second home occupied by the owners.
