You’ll love Scott Hill Cabin because of the view, ambience, and location. There are brochures in the cabin to see what options our area has for you. The actual address of the cabin is 1166 Orchard Road. We allow pets, but just ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We want to extend a military discount to our past and present service members.

Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area Trail #15. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch, outdoor tub, shower, electric fireplace, patio, picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse with composting toilet. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. The outdoor shower/tub is NOT fully enclosed or private, and may be turned off in a freeze. Nature lovers only!

The Bungalow at Grandpa's Mountain

The Bungalow is a cozy not-so-tiny home at 420 sq ft. A 16x20 Gothic Arched building designed and built by the owner. Besides a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, and comfortable sleeping quarters, you will find wonderful amenities outside! Views of mountains, pasture, and woods. Relax in a hammock or tell your secrets to Drifter the horse. Often Mr Groundhog or the Deer family will visit, too. The Bungalow at Grandpa's Mountain is a quiet getaway.

This is a cozy 1 bedroom executive suite. Tastefully decorated and has everything needed to feel right at home. It is perfect for a couple or a couple with a child or two. Super comfortable and very clean. Centrally located. This home is right at the start of the famous "Snake", curvy road leading to Shady Valley. Close to many of the favorite attractions. VA Creeper Trail, Backbone Rock and Bristol Motor Speedway and Boone NC is close by.

3 bedroom mountain retreat!

Our little peaceful home is located in the Kettlefoot black bear reserve. Bears can sometimes be seen crossing the road or strolling thru the fields Damascus and Mountain City are only minutes away! Our place offers a big yard to enjoy along with a fire pit with firewood furnished. Cornhole and board games are also available. A nice sitting area on the covered back porch to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
