The "Outhouse"

We are a quarter of a mile from downtown Bonners Ferry, meaning walking distance to Breakfast, lunch, dinner, casino, beautiful views and friendly people! We are 45 minutes to the village of Schweitzer and a great stopping point before Canada. Super clean and love to share our hand crafted tiny guest home! The Outhouse is located on property. We as hosts are next door in the main house, so if you need anything we are avilable! We happily accommodate late listings and last minute bookings.

Enjoy the splendor of God's creation by day, and spend the evening in comfort around an outdoor fire pit.

Our guest suite has a modern rustic feel & can accommodate 3 guests. There is an ensuite bathroom & a separate room with a microwave, hotplate, breakfast sandwich maker, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker and a tea kettle. There are plates, bowls, cutlery, etc and a rustic wine barrel dining table. The cupboards are stocked with local tea and coffee, with cream in the fridge and snack. There is a bbq for guests use also

Secluded Cozy Log Cabin

This is truly a gem! Relax to the peaceful creek and enjoy the cabin’s unique rustic woodwork inside and out. A short, easy trail leads to the creek, and an alpine lake is less than an hour’s hike. The property borders Kaniksu National Forest and the proposed Scotchman Peaks Wilderness. In winter, the cabin is decorated for Christmas—come enjoy the snow and cozy mountain quiet. Love nature? Welcome to our restful and rustic little one-room Kootenay cabin in the woods. Backing onto the Skimmerhorn mountain range, you have close up views of the rock face and are within minutes from a network of hiking trails. Nestled in a cedar forest, the cabin offers quiet, simple tranquility with your own private front porch, fire pit, and a clean rustic outhouse.

The Selkirk Flat

The Selkirk Flat is cozy for any couple! With the North Idaho views and the comfortable amenities, this flat is the perfect get-way. It is pet friendly ($20 pet fee) with a fenced kennel and doggy door for easy access. Being next to state land provides lots of room to explore! Steep driveway, 4 wheel drive /All wheel drive required in the winter.
