Tigers’Lair Dorsland Cottage

We offer you a special little cottage, built nearly a century ago, and carefully and lovingly restored. The cottage is close to the main farm buildings of the farm Tiger's Lair, 18 km southeast of Aranos (only 15km gravel road), a remote town in the southeast of Namibia. Great halfway stop to/from Mata Mata. We promise peace and contentment on a working farm, with sheep, goats, cattle and Arabian horses, miles and miles of beautiful red sand dunes and camel thorn trees typical of the Kalahari.

This very unique, private cabin is truly special because of the beautiful views of Namibian fauna & flora, wild animals grazing at the lake below (or coming to your doorstep!🤩) and magnificent sunsets! This cozy, romantic cabin is selfcatering, but meals can be ordered. The price is per person per night. A sleeper couch (for a small kid) is in the study room. The location might not accessible for a very small sedan, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Closest shops/restaurants are in Windhoek.
