The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

New Pool Cabana 1 Queen with ensuite open lounge and kitchen with exotic Balinese day bed looking out onto the sweeping deck under the giant ponciana tree with swings and a hammock for siestas. 5 min stroll through the butterfly forrest to Horseshoe Bay for shops ,cafe,restaurants,Tavern ,bus,national park trails,watersports and the best Magnetic sunsets.

The Lake House

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. Come and enjoy your stay at our peaceful two-bedroom garden cottage. The location is central 1km to the CBD, cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets. Centenary Park and bus stop are within walking distance. . We have renovated and decorated this genuine old town cottage so you can lay back and relax. Our two rooms are fully airconditioned and share a bathroom. The big wooden windows allow a glimpse into the colorful garden.
