Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The entire constructed yurt is yours to enjoy privately. Nestled on an organic farm, it sits a bit above Bristol offering sweeping views of the valley and the beautiful Adirondack mountains. There are many farm animals on the property and farm tours are available upon request. PLEASE NOTE: The queen bed is only accessible by a ladder. The property is located up a steep driveway. During the winter months all wheel drive vehicles are required.

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Two queen beds, air mattress & futon mattress. 12 mi. to Montpelier and 7 mi. in the opposite direction to Lake Elmore, 4 miles to Worcester Trailhead and 6 miles to Hunger Mt! A beautiful sanctuary for peace and quiet or Netflix and Wifi, your hearts desire!

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Howling Wolf Farm Yurt--A Magical Glamping Retreat

Our 88-acre farm spreads up a steep hillside above the village of Randolph, one mile away. The land is a mixture of open areas where we rotate our sheep flock daily, and wooded land with trails and old stone walls. You might hear the occasional car or truck on a nearby road, but more likely you'll hear our sheep baaing to one another or the cows across the valley trumpeting, or the abundance of birdsong. The energy here is calming and peaceful--we know you will love it as much as we do.

Welcome to Trekker in Lake George, New York at the base of the Adirondack Park. When staying at our unique resort you will not only experience and see many different types of rentals like treehouses, yurts, earth homes, and cabins but you can explore our wildflower fields, play with our goats and chickens, and observe our honeybee hives. Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

The Yurt In The Woods is 30 ft in diameter - 700 spacious sq. ft. It's surrounded by trees and has a yard. 2 night stays required for Weekends. October 6th and 12th are currently vacant if you want a fall foliage trip. There is a "one" night stay fee of $50 Allowed 2 dogs with the agreement to my animal policy & $50 fee WiFi 1,000 megabits per second a fiber network Outdoor Gas Grill , Outdoor Fire Circle, and Outdoor Shower available May - October
