The cabin offers a full kitchen and 3 queen beds! It sits high up on the peak of Coon Mountain, 20 miles from Camden and Belfast in Mid-coast Maine. Facing east, it provides dramatic sun rises over the nearby mountains. This hand-crafted whimsical cabin provides a home base for exploring this endlessly interesting region. Right out the door is a trail down to the valley with marshes and ponds to explore. 2 miles away is the spring fed Lake St. George, with incredibly clean and clear water.

Hobb’s House - Year Round Log Cabin on the Water

Cozy 2 Beds, 1 pullout sofa bed, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Log Cabin with water/mountain views on Hobb’s Pond. Relax on the dock, grill from the deck, canoe (1)/kayaks (2)/swim during the day and relax with your steaming services on the smart TV at night. 5min drive to the Camden Snow Bowl for ski/snowboard during the winter. Beautiful hand built cabin, overlooking Cotton Pond. Ten minutes from Camden, the sailing mecca of the east coast. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Blue Life Farm

Blue Life Farm is an entirely private three acre property with an off grid cabin. Close to lakes and rivers for swimming, boating, and fishing. It's only 20 miunutes to the costal town of Belfast, and 45 minutes to the city of Bangor. The cabin has a full bathroom with on demand hot water, kitchen including all utentsils and a good-size covered porch and deck. The cabin is powered by solar, and propane for on-demand hot water and built in stovetop and uses an efficient composting toilet.

Perfect cental spot for day trips to the prettiest of Maine!

Winter or summer, the Little River Retreat will help you step away from the world - but still be minutes from Reid State Park, Five Islands Lobster, the Georgetown General Store, and the rugged beauty of Midcoast Maine. This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. We love the unique charm of this space and place, and many repeat guests do too. We hope you will treasure (and care for it) as we do!
