Cabin is close to paved walking and biking trails. With close proximity to Sibley State Park. Kandiyohi County Park 7 is 1 mile away with large swimming beach, life guards, play ground equipment, seasonal convenient store, and boat rentals. New London/ Spicer area is an easy 15 minute drive with boutique shops and dinning options.

Peace of Nature Rustic Retreat is located in a beautiful wooded property between a lake and a pond and wetland. The retreat features private entrance & covered patio with woods & lake views. A bird watchers dream with a variety of woodpeckers, nuthatch, hummingbirds, Bluejays & cardinals. Enjoy observing the many other critters here too — deer, ermine, otter, trumpeter swan, blue Herron, fox squirrels and more. Located within 10 minutes to fishing, hiking, bike trails, cc skiing and much more.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

Hand-hewn rock gas fireplace, massage chair, fully stocked modern kitchen, wifi, YouTube TV (local channels & espn) & streaming. Enjoy the gazebo & hot tub next to the cabin throughout the seasons. Perfect for two but can sleep up to four. No AC? Not a problem here! Our basement space stays cool and comfortable all throughout the hot and humid summer days of MN. We also have fans available and we constantly run a dehumidifier to circulate the air and keep away moisture.
