Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the sand forest area. You are free to walk or run in the park, and in addition to rare bird species (Narina Trogon), you have a good chance of encountering giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes. Nearest restaurant is a 5-minute by car and can also be reached on foot before dark. The Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Big Five Park, famous for its rhinos is just a 40-minute drive away, and ocean lovers need only travel 1 hour for fantastic diving.

It is accessible to non-4x4 vehicles and still offers the benefits of rural Zululand. It adjoins the main house, but has it's own private entrance and garden. Solar powered, so no loadshedding frustrations. Fully equipped with an open plan kitchen and living area, it comfortably accommodates 3 adults.

A traditional Zulu style "Rondavel" with modern and comfortable furnishings within a secure garden. The Rondavel is a fully equipped and serviced self catering unit which is perfect for 2 adults or a family of 3. This newly built unit is on the same property as Foundation Lodge. Our home in Sodwana Bay is based in the heart of Sodwana Bay close to all restaurants and lodges. Build to share with our family and friends. The property is 5km from the main beach and can be reached without a 4x4. Daily cleaning is provided including dishes, washing. The property is rented out to one group at a time and the only other person on the property is the House Manager - she has her own cabin and kitchen area.
