My place is on Blue Ridge Parkway on mile post 191.4. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambience, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Very relaxing, next to a stocked pond and the Blue Ridge Parkway! Enjoy the loft, accessible by indoor ladder. Great wineries, breweries, bluegrass music, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking nearby.

Historic One Room Schoolhouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful historic one room schoolhouse built in 1903 situated on 13 acres. It was originally built as a Sunday School room but was later used as the community schoolhouse. Two original blackboards are still in the main room, along with numerous children's carvings on the original walls.The schoolhouse has been updated with a kitchen, bedroom, 1 1/2 bathrooms and a large wrap around deck. The headwaters of the Dan River can be seen and heard from the deck.
