We are far enough from town to be surrounded by nature with frequent moose visits & exceptional northern lights, while still fairly close to restaurants and shopping (30 min). The home is crafted to provide you with over 420 Sq Feet of carefully planned space offering a fully functional kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a custom tiled shower. It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub.

Only 2 miles off highway,good road right up to door. Has 2 small decks.relaxing scenery, due to remodeling private fire pit not available You can get your exercise walking to the lake. Dock. We have loons, eagles, and some other Wildlife. On 17 mile lake. Has trout, so bring a pole. Great couple getaway. Questions just ask.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

This beautiful lakeside cottage is perfect for relaxing and enjoying Alaskan views. The property is home to 3 fluffy resident cats and 3 reindeer; Snowflake, Blizzard and Storm. This is a beautiful place to kayak, fish for rainbow trout, or just enjoy the scenery. Hatcher Pass is a short drive and offers guests many hiking trails and scenic views. Driving up and over the mountain is a great start for a daytrip.
