For rainy or cold days, there is plenty to do indoors.There is also a treadmill and weights if you want a workout, and lots of games! There are endless hiking trails nearby, excellent fishing spots, and we even have access to beautiful Star Lake., a 15 min. Drive. Feel free to bring your boat. It's the perfect getaway to unwind- whether you're reading a book, enjoying a cozy fire, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty around you. Riverside Cabin & Nature Trails

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all communities.

Tucked beside our small orchard on a 400-acre certified organic farm, The Cabin at Laing Family Farm is a peaceful and cozy retreat where days start with birdsong and end with sunsets over our animals grazing in their pasture across the road. Conveniently located halfway between Canton and Potsdam, The Cabin is close to all four local universities.

There are only 3 cabins on the property, rent the 2 and bring the whole family or just rent 1 and still feel like your secluded. We stay in the 3rd cabin for the season.
