The Bower is one of 4 holiday cottages at Menifters and situated under the Hayloft. Menifters is surrounded by countryside and is just over 1 mile from Porthallow Cove. Here you can park on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sea views to Falmouth Bay or pick up the South West footpath for a stunning walk along the coast. You can walk to Porthallow from Menifters via a footpath which takes about 25 minutes. Further afield is Helford (4.5 miles) – an idylic village on the Helford river.

The house is a coverted Methodist chapel and the first floor is open plan with high ceilings, wonderful light, wood burning stove and sea views. Downstairs you will find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is simple, stylish and very easy - it's a great base to explore both the Lizard Peninsula and the Helford River. NB: the village pub has recently re-opened!

Peaceful Barn with Sea Views near Falmouth

Keynvor is a bright, airy barn conversion in a small farm complex which formerly belonged to the National Trust. The farmhouse dates from the 1650s and the barns from the 19th century. The garden affords fabulous ocean views, and is a sun trap when the weather co-operates. There is a gentle 10-15 minute walk through woodland to the nearest beach, which is on the South West Coast Path, and it is possible to walk to Falmouth or Helford Passage along the coast.

Longstone Barn is a superbly equipped luxury barn conversion set in glorious rural surroundings, with its own beautiful garden, 5 minutes’ drive from the seaside village of Coverack with a pretty harbour and a sandy beach at low tide. All of SW Cornwall and many cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy reach. Babies up to 2yrs old are accepted at the barn and a cot with mattress, high chair, baby bath and changing mat can be provided.
