Starfish Cottage, Hummingbirds, Mountain/Sea Views

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not accept children under 13. Wake to hummingbirds at your balcony feeder, with views of the Blue Mountain peak, Nonsuch Falls and the Port Antonio coastline. Starfish has a treehouse feel: private bathroom, kitchenette, AC, and a hammock built for doing nothing at all. Swim laps in our 25m pool, train in the open-air Jungle Gym, and reach Frenchman’s Cove in 5 minutes. A quiet retreat for couples and solo travellers who want to disconnect and let the jungle do the rest.

Ahh! Boston Beach (Ocean View Studio/Private Bath)

The Room: Two Thumbs UP. The House: Top floor is unfinished. The Yard: Really just for parking or sitting out on a chair and taking in the great ocean view. The Pool: Above Ground Pool with deck half way around it. Nothing fancy, but cools you off on a hot day. The Area: Boston Beach and Jerk Centre are both at the foot of the hill. Going down is fine. Rocksteady is an off the beaten path property located 2 kilos from the main road, also accessible by route Taxi or enjoy the walk through the community of Islington. 5 mins north of our villa is Egg Hill Spring this oldest Entombed in Jamaica has served the community as its primary water supply. Rocksteady allows you to, "Disconnect from the world and tune in nature".

Space is designed for a single guest on personal/ company business / educational trips, or seeking base from which to explore/ relax in quiet surroundings. The Parish of Portland has so many wonderful things - something for everyone.  From surfing at Boston Bay, rafting on the Rio Grande, there is also Blue Lagoon (expected to re-open June 1, 2023) and Reach Falls (temporarily closed for upgrading). Relaxing at the various bars, eating the world famous Boston jerk pork or chicken and getting to know the amazing people of Jamaica.
