A cozy little cottage, 26 m² (280 sq ft), located in the heart of South Iceland, slightly off the beaten path, but only a 10-minute drive from Road 1 and the nearest town, Hvolsvöllur. This is a perfect location for a few days' stay to enjoy all that the south has to offer. Please refer to our Guide Book for further details. We offer free Wi-Fi and free parking. In 2022 and 2023, the patio has undergone a complete renovation, and there have also been some partial interior upgrades.

A unique and peaceful stay at a private house located next to the black sand beach with great views over Vestmannaeyjar and Eyjafjallajölkull volcano. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, open living and dining room area. Outdoor terrace, private entrance and free parking. Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

Brú Guesthouse is situated near ring-road nr 1 in the southern region of Iceland. It is very well situated for travels to Vik, Vestmann islands, The glacier Lagoon, Skogarfoss and many other poupular destinations in the south of Iceland. The cottage is 6 km north of the town Hvolsvöllur up by the road 262 Vallarvegur. 1 hour and 20 min drive from Reykjavik. 15 min drive to Seljalandsfoss and 30 min drive to Skógafoss. Thus Eyjafallajökull and volcano Hekla are close by.
