River Lodge

This beautiful granite gate lodge is over 200 years old and is tucked inside the entrance to The Manor Cottages. It overlooks the Brittas river which is full of wildlife all year round. The cottage has recently been renovated in a traditional style but with all the modern day comforts. The cottage has a romantic feel to it and is wonderfully private. The cottage has its own designated parking area and a large private garden. It’s close to both Dublin and the airport yet feels wonderfully remote.

Only a few minutes walk to local shops, restaurants, bars, gym, pool, parks, cinemas and 15 min walk to Dublin city centre. Bus and trams to centre are a short walk away. Direct bus at end of road to airport, train station, stadium and DART. Property would comfortably fit a family of 7 or 6 adults. On street parking available - day resident parking tickets can be provided on request.

The house is in Dublin’s centre and Georgian heartland, a stone’s throw from St Stephen’s Green. It has all the authentic features of the period properties in the area, including high ceilings and sash windows, and offers a rare chance to stay in a beautiful and refined central location, in your own house. Important to note this is an area and location with a lively night life, with late night noise a feature, but is perfect if you want a stylish stay within walking distance of the city centre.

Also you are only 10minutes to the city centre or 10 minutes to the bike trail which will take you all the way out along the coast to the seaside village of Howth. The wild meadow behind the cabin leads to the Howth cliff path, perfect for hiking or strolling to Howth village or Howth Summit. There are several small swimming coves within walking distance. The cabin is at the back of my house but completely separate with its own entrance and lockbox. Lovely and peaceful!
