Frio Riverside Retreat

Hidden down in a canyon on the Frio River, this cabin offers a home base for exploring the Texas Hill country. Take a short walk to your own private river access. Walk up the road for several river road crossing and more crystal clear water to explore. Cook at home in the well equipped kitchen or drive 15 minutes to Leakey to dine at many of the local restaurants. Slow down and enjoy the sunset sets, moon rises and stars on the front porch in a comfortable rocker while watching the hummingbirds!

Private River Access-Sunshine Cottage @ Mill Wheel

Newly renovated kitchen, bathroom, and laundry! The Sunshine Cottage is a precious two-bedroom home located on the main street of our town. It's small in size, but loaded with charm! It is a short walk (or drive, if you prefer) to the swimming hole, located on the property. Enjoy the cool water, gorgeous sunsets, and ultimate peacefulness of this little slice of Heaven in the Hill Country. *THE HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE A RIVER VIEW, BUT OFFERS PRIVATE ACCESS AT THE BEAUTIFUL MILL WHEEL SWIMMING HOLE.

Relax with the whole family at this charming place to stay. It’s an older cabin that provides a sense of home and a peaceful tranquillity. Sleeps up to 8 people with room for 6 in the main cabin and a detached bedroom/bathroom that sleeps 2 more. Perfect for a couple. Washer/dryer included with super close access to the river (right across the road) and a hillside view with plenty of places for a long walk or hiking. There’s even a man-made jacuzzi nearby! Close proximity to Garner State Park.

This Texas Hill Country farm offers, dark skies, natural rivers and a state of mind that is only found here. On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. Hot tub. Burn ban on most of time(drought) ,please ask No smoking in cabin!

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Located five miles north of Leakey, fifteen minutes from Garner State Park, thirty-six miles away from Lost Maples State Park and 82 miles to Fredricksburg.
