Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

Remote 300 sq ft solar powered cabin in the ponderosa forest 7 miles from the town of Mancos by Mancos State Park. Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

We are close to the airport and hospital in the southern agricultural area of town. Beautiful views, simple living and comfort in this adorable custom apartment will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! There are pets on the property and neighboring ranches galore. The apartment is very private, with ample parking; trailers welcome.

We are 5 miles from downtown Cortez, on 20 acres of sacred land. It also has outdoor chairs, a fire pit, and access to all the campground's amenities. The 3rd room with a bed has a full size bed. Sleeps 6 people comfortably. The 4th room is an exercise room with a treadmill. Nice cozy back yard. Nice living room with oversized couches. WiFi offered. The living room has a tv and 3 of the rooms has tv in them. There is a nice koi pond in the front yard.
