We are Canadians and legal residents/citizens of the US who have traveled around the world extensively and love meeting new people from different locations and backgrounds. When we are not globe-trotting we like to get the same kind of experience by hosting guests in our home. We are a 4-person family who live in the home above the apartment. We are generally around and available to assist guests as needed, however we believe in giving our guests privacy to feel as though they're at home. For guests that visit for long durations we often invite them for a meal or an enjoyable glass of wine in the garden. The apartment is a self-contained apartment with it's own entrance/exit - it's not unusual to rarely see guests unless a concerted effort is made.

The apartment easily accesses all local sporting venues: Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards play at the Verizon Center also located on the Green Line Metro at the Chinatown-Gallery Place stop; Washington Nationals park is a straight shot from West Hyattsville metro to Navy Yard station; and Washington's football team plays in Landover, which is a half hour drive through the back roads, even on game days.
If you wish to bring your animal with you, as a courtesy you *****must confirm with us BEFORE making your booking.*****
*Please be considerate that we are a family home and respect our privacy as we will respect yours!
*No smoking please
*No parties please
*Additional staying guests other than those booked in for the BnB stay MUST first be cleared by host.
